Visa C10 - Single Entry Invited Event Participant
The C10 Visa is a Single-Entry Visit Visa for foreign nationals invited to participate in Indonesian events as a speaker, lecturer, presenter, or public figure. It grants an initial stay of up to 60 days and is extendable twice for a total maximum stay of 180 days (6 months). The holder is allowed to receive compensation for their event participation but is strictly prohibited from entering into an employment relationship with an Indonesian entity.
The Single-Entry Invited Event Participant Visa (Index C10) is a dedicated visa category for foreign nationals formally invited to Indonesia to participate in short-term events as a speaker, lecturer, presenter, or public figure. This visa is designed specifically for individuals contributing their expertise to meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) without establishing an employment relationship.Key Features of the C10 Visa:Maximum Stay: Grants an initial stay permit of 60 days upon arrival. This stay can be officially extended at a local Immigration Office for two consecutive periods of 60 days each, allowing for a potential maximum stay of 180 days (6 months).Single Entry: The visa is strictly Single-Entry. If the visa holder departs Indonesia for any reason, the visa is automatically canceled, and a new offshore application is required to re-enter.Compensation is Permitted: Unlike many other visit visas, C10 visa holders are permitted to receive compensation, wages, or honoraria from the Indonesian individual or corporation that invited them, provided the payment is directly related to their role as a speaker, lecturer, or presenter at the event.Sponsorship Requirement: The application must be sponsored by a local Indonesian entity (the event organizer, company, or individual) who provides a Letter of Guarantee and an official invitation detailing the event agenda and the applicant's role.Prohibitions: Visa holders are strictly prohibited from entering into an employment relationship with any Indonesian individual or entity. They are also prohibited from selling goods or services.This visa must be applied for offshore (outside of Indonesia) through the e-Visa system before traveling. It is the official permit for foreign experts and public figures participating in invited events across Indonesia.
