An Incorporated Association (Perkumpulan Berbadan Hukum) is the official legal entity in Indonesia designed for groups of individuals or organizations uniting to pursue shared social, professional, or community objectives. Establishing a formal Perkumpulan grants your organization legal body status (Berbadan Hukum), separating personal liability from organizational assets and providing official recognition under Indonesian law.Our Association Setup service covers the core legal drafting, notary coordination, and government approval process required to officially form your legal entity.Governance & Board Structure:Executive Officers (Pengurus): Responsible for daily operational management and legal representation. Minimum board positions include Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. Executive Officers must be Indonesian residents (Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals holding a valid stay permit/KITAS).Supervisors (Pengawas): Responsible for oversight and management guidance. Foreign nationals may hold supervisor positions without residency or KITAS requirements.General Meeting of Members (Rapat Anggota): The ultimate decision-making body of the association.Separation of Roles: An individual cannot serve as both an Executive Officer (Pengurus) and a Supervisor (Pengawas) simultaneously.Scope Limitation:Our service scope covers the legal establishment process up to the execution of the Deed of Establishment and the formal approval by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
