ERP (Exit Re-Entry Permit)
An ERP is an exit permit processed for a KITAS holder who has already left Indonesia without completing the EPO process. It is a mandatory step to legally terminate your KITAS from abroad, which is necessary before you can apply for a new visa to re-enter Indonesia.
The ERP is a special procedure for canceling a KITAS when the holder has already departed Indonesia. This is a common situation for individuals who leave the country for an emergency or simply forget to process their EPO before their departure. Failing to process an ERP can result in overstay penalties and blacklisting, which will prevent you from obtaining any new visa for Indonesia in the future. The ERP process essentially "clears" your immigration record from abroad.Key Characteristics & RequirementsLocation: You must be outside of Indonesia to process the ERP.Primary Condition: The ERP is only required if you have already left Indonesia with a valid or expired KITAS and did not complete an EPO.Document-Based: The process relies heavily on scanned documents, including a copy of your departure stamp and airline ticket.Sponsorship: The sponsoring company or individual must still initiate the process on your behalf from Indonesia.CoverageThis service includes: Administrative review of ERP eligibility Guidance on document requirements for sponsor and applicant Preparation and submission of ERP application to Immigration Coordination with the sponsoring entity in Indonesia Monitoring of application status until completion Notification upon formal cancellation of KITAS in the Immigration systemThis service does not include: Government fees or penalties (if imposed by Immigration) Overstay fines or blacklisting resolution New visa or KITAS application following ERP completion Legal representation for immigration disputes
