EPO (Exit Permit Only)
An EPO is the official process to terminate your KITAS when you are still in Indonesia and plan to leave the country for good, without any intention of returning on the same visa or sponsorship. This is a crucial step to "clear your immigration record" and is typically done before you depart Indonesia.
An EPO is a mandatory procedure for a KITAS holder who is ending their residency in Indonesia. It serves as a formal notification to the Directorate General of Immigration that your legal stay permit has been canceled.
